How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) How youu2019ll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities): As a Simulator Qualification Co-op, you will support Deltau2019s Simulator Qualifications, Engineering and Maintenance teams in regulatory oversight and training readiness of Delta's fleet of 71 flight simulator training devices. Deltau2019s Simulator Qualifications, Engineering and Maintenance teams ensure that flight simulator training devices meet FAA FAR Part 60 requirements and are aligned with Deltau2019s pilot training and qualification standards. This position offers real-world exposure to FAA regulatory compliance, operations, and quality control of high-fidelity flight simulator training devices. Summary of responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks): + Reports to Deltau2019s Manager of Simulator Qualifications. + Supports FAAu2019s initial and requalification evaluation events, and Deltau2019s internal evaluation events of flight simulator training devices. + Collaborates with Simulator Engineering and Simulator Maintenance teams in review of simulator qualification discrepancies and fidelity issues. + Supports simulator qualification and technical documentation records retention process. + Practices safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) + Working as a Co-op does not guarantee a full-time opportunity upon graduation. This position is intended to provide you with educational, and professional work experience to prepare you for the workforce. + This position requires you to work for 3 alternating semesters. You cannot actively take any courses (inclusive of online or in-person) and work as a Co-op at the same time, which may delay your graduation by 1-2 semesters. + Students must be able to complete 3 alternating rotations in Atlanta, GA in line with the below schedule: + Fall 2026 - 1st rotation + Summer 2027 - 2nd rotation + Spring 2028 - 3rd rotation + Working toward a bacheloru2019s degree in aviation management, aeronautical science, engineering, or a related discipline. + Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze technical data and documentation. + Demonstrated organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a regulated, fast-paced technical environment. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat for communication, document management, and regulatory recordkeeping. + Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. + Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles. + Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. + Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
