Job Summary KBR is seeking a Threat and Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) Analyst to support the Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense mission areas working with an experienced team in support of the Deputy Director for Force Protection 2-Star Director of the Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense Office (JIAMDO). JIAMDOu2019s mission is to strategically develop, and scope concept based, threat informed joint requirements that mitigate Combatant Command Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) gaps and lead to the delivery of joint force capabilities for the Warfighter in the current and future fights. The Threat and Functional SME Analyst position will work with their team, Combatant Commands, Office of the Secretary of War, Services, the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDC). Key Responsibilities + Development of adversary threat scenarios and fire plans to support Joint Regional IAMD capability assessments that integrate intelligence reporting with SME judgment and technical/operational analysis. + Analyzing existing and emerging foreign conventional weapons across air, maritime, terrestrial, and space domains, including ballistic missiles, cruise missiles (standard, hypersonic), hypersonic glide vehicles, and orbital strike systems. + Conducting technical assessments of foreign weapon system capabilities, performance, signatures, employment concepts, R&D activities, timelines, and configurations. + Facilitating technical exchanges with IC partners to refine understanding and modeling of adversary air and missile threats and identifying information gaps to develop targeted intelligence collection requirements through standard IC tasking processes. + Supporting JIAMDO in developing, assessing, and prioritizing IAMD capability needs. + Prepare and communicate at an executive level for written products (reports, briefings, info papers, executive summaries) to inform, shape, develop, and advocate for the Joint Warfighters + Facilitate coordination and collaboration across IAMD stakeholders including the Combatant Commands, Office of the Secretary of War, Joint Staff, military Services and Agencies, and the intelligence community. + Provide expertise to support the development of warfighter required IAMD capability needs within the requirements, acquisition, and resources processes Basic Qualifications + Education: Masteru2019s degree required + Experience: 15+ years of relevant experience + Technical expertise: Minimum 15 years in IAMD or related disciplines and at least 5 years conducting modeling and simulation analysis. + Clearance: Active TS with SCI and SAP eligibility. + This role requires deep knowledge of joint employment concepts, operational requirements, and doctrine for defending against enemy aircraft, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles. + Must be a U.S. Citizen Preferred Qualifications u00b7 Understanding and experience on threat characteristic in Missile Defense u00b7 Understanding and experience managing scenario development for modeling and simulation, and gathering outcomes to form coherent lessons learned u00b7 Ability to write at a strategic level and develop quality written products and presentations for senior Department of War leadership decision-making u00b7 Familiarity with the Department of War, Joint, and/or Army Staff processes, planning, resourcing, and operations u00b7 Familiarity with the Joint Force and IAMD systems and capabilities u00b7 Operational military experience in the IAMD domain which includes air defense, ballistic missile defense, and cruise missile defense, as well as experience supporting the Joint Staff, Office of the Secretary of War, Service HQ, or CCMD HQ. u00b7 Relevant experience in the development and conduct of structured and non-structured analysis for the Department of War or similar U.S. Government agency.
