Requisition Number: 223445 Job Description Cintas is seeking a Safety Coordinator to manage all areas related to compliance and performance. Responsibilities include supporting and coordinating safety awareness programs; ensuring proper reporting of work related accidents; coordinating and/or conducting all safety training, including physical aspects such as proper bending, lifting and stretching procedures, as well as any related follow-up necessary to maintain compliance in these areas; implementation of the Corporate Safety Manual, safety procedures, checklist and audits; riding on routes with Route Service Sales Representatives (Route Drivers) and working in a production warehouse environment to ensure safety compliance among all affected workers. While riding on route and working in the warehouse, the Safety Coordinator will assist with the physical duties of those positions, including lifting, carrying and walking products into and out of customer accounts, as well as continuous bending, twisting and stretching to move products throughout the various areas of the plant. Skills/Qualifications Required + High School Diploma/GED Qualified candidates must meet all requirements outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT) or Provincial requirements for driving a regulated vehicle weighing more than 10,000 lbs.
