Description We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Controller to join our team in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. In this role, you will oversee all financial operations. Responsibilities: u2022 Develop and implement efficient accounting systems, processes, and procedures to support organizational growth. u2022 Lead the transition of financial operations from outsourced services to an in-house model. u2022 Build and mentor a high-performing finance team by hiring and training additional staff as needed. u2022 Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. u2022 Collaborate with leadership to support strategic planning and decision-making. u2022 Maintain compliance with financial regulations and ensure proper documentation and controls are in place. u2022 Leverage software tools such as Yardi and QuickBooks to streamline financial operations. u2022 Provide insights and recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency. u2022 Foster a positive and detail-oriented workplace culture among a small, dynamic team. Requirements u2022 A minimum of 5 years and up to 15 years of relevant experience in financial management or a similar role. u2022 Proven ability to design and implement accounting systems and processes. u2022 Proficiency in financial software, including Yardi and QuickBooks. u2022 Strong leadership and team-building skills with a track record of mentoring staff. u2022 Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. u2022 Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt to a dynamic and growing organization. u2022 High level of professionalism and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
