Job Title: Accounts Payable ClerkJob Description The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing a high volume of accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices, expense reports, contractual payments, patient refunds, and electronic payments. The role requires ensuring accuracy and timely payments across multiple entities. The clerk supports invoice review, voucher processing, prepaid setup, payment preparation, and reconciliation of discrepancies, while maintaining accurate vendor master data and resolving exception reports. Compliance with regulatory requirements and providing strong customer service to vendors and internal stakeholders are essential aspects of the role. Responsibilities + Process a high volume of accounts payable transactions accurately and timely. + Support invoice review and voucher processing. + Assist in prepaid setup and payment preparation. + Reconcile discrepancies and maintain accurate vendor master data. + Resolve exception reports and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. + Provide strong customer service to vendors and internal stakeholders. Essential Skills + 2+ years of invoice processing experience. + 2+ years of vendor maintenance experience. + Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook. + Ability to navigate within Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in accounts payable and accounting. + Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. + Strong communication skills. + Attention to detail and analytical skills. Work Environment This role requires working onsite every day from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM in an open floor concept office located in Allentown near the PPL Center. The office is newly furnished and offers a chance to work for one of the leading healthcare systems in Pennsylvania. There is potential for this role to transition into a full-time position, dependent on the ERP implementation and team size requirements once the organization transitions to a single ERP system (Workday). Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Allentown, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
