Systems Administrator

Description: u2022 Provide Domain/Systems Administrator Engineer of the Mission LAN, and oversee the maintenance, optimal function, and patching of the LANu2019s operating system, and the GOTS, COTS, and custom software products running on it. u2022 Perform system startup, shutdown, backups, and restores and maintain records of the Cartoon operating system upgrades/changes for reporting purposes. u2022 Conduct virus scanning and firewall protection of the Mission LAN in compliance with the Sponsoru2019s ISSM u2022 Provide Data Transfer Officer (DTO) services between UNCLASSIFIED and CLASSIFIED networks as needed by the Sponsor u2022 Coordinate assistance from the Sponsoru2019s corporate resources when required, if encountering a problem that the Contractor team cannot solve u2022 Ensure security compliance with the Sponsoru2019s ISSM for all components of the network u2022 Perform other system administration duties as requested by the Sponsor. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Minimum 3 years experience as a Systems Administrator u2022 Minimum 1 year administering a system with the Sponsor's system security control for Int-A, B, and/or C enclaves u2022 Basic understanding of Windows/Linux u2022 Ability to describe technical items to non-technical users u2022 Experience with scripting languages (Powershell, Bash, Python, etc.) u2022 BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, IT, GIS, or related field. Candidates without a degree may be considered if they have relevant certifications and equivalent professional experience u2022 Must have FSP Desired Skills: u2022 Experience with ClanSig program performing software development, coordinating IT services, or administering systems u2022 Experience with the Sponsor's Authority to Operate (ATO) process for mission systems, and coordinating ATO packages for a Sponsor enclave and completing all of the tasks required from the Sponsor's ISSM that are necessary to obtain ATO status for that enclave u2022 Cloud familiarity (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.) u2022 Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) u2022 Experience with virtualization technologies #LMSpaceSystemsEng Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly SP Other Important Information You Should Know Expression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
