Sourcing Manager

Description Robert Half is currently recruiting for a skilled Sourcing Manager to lead procurement operations and optimize purchasing strategies for our client. Based in Knoxville, Tennessee, this role will focus on streamlining procurement processes, ensuring cost efficiency, and managing vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in contract negotiations, competitive pricing, and procurement systems to drive business success. Responsibilities: u2022 Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency. u2022 Oversee the creation, processing, and tracking of purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate transactions. u2022 Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms, competitive pricing, and compliance with company policies. u2022 Monitor and analyze market trends, tariffs, and pricing fluctuations to make informed purchasing decisions. u2022 Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure consistent supply and quality. u2022 Lead the development and enforcement of departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance performance. u2022 Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure procurement effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement activities with business goals and project timelines. u2022 Ensure compliance with corporate procurement policies and regulatory requirements. u2022 Manage procurement activities using SAP and other relevant tools to optimize workflows. A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field is required with 5+ years of experience. The position is 100% onsite and candidates must live in the Knoxville or surrounding areas.
