Housekeeping oftenresponds quickly andefficiently to changing demands and guest needs. Essential functionsinclude but are not limited to:Preparation: inventory check and loading of the days suppliesMake-up/turndown service: pull trash andlaundry; sanitize/clean bathrooms and fixtures, mirrors, and eatingareas; dust; vacuum; make beds; eplenish provisions (firewood, toiletries, amenities); and properlyreset fireplace as needed. Turn-overs:prepare room for check-in. Strip and make beds with fresh linens, cleanbathrooms, vacuum, dust, andstock amenities. Common areas maintenance: ensure the cleanliness andpresentation of all commonareas. Laundering: gather and haul laundry/linens to the laundrybuilding; as needed, load machines, foldand store, deliver guest laundry. Closet restocking: inventory andrestock amenities and linens as ecessary in all housekeeping closets within accommodations. Departmentworkspace maintenance:clean and maintain laundry building, bathrooms, break rooms, and officeareas. Efficient practices- take esponsibility for a job that is thorough, accurate, and timely whilekeeping attention to important details.Reporting- observe and report maintenance issues, missing inventory, ordamage.a. Work hours and days:Basic Schedule: 40 per weekHours: 7:00AM - 4:00PM; M-F; schedule includes a one-hour unpaid lunchbreak; may workweekends.d. Dates of Need: 5/1/2026 - 2/14/2027e. Specific requirements: None3) Geographic area of intended employment: Windsor County, VT4) Rate of Pay: $19.52 per hour5) Overtime hours are offered at the rate of $29.28 per hour6) Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computingwages due.7) Frequency of pay: Bi-Weekly8) Employer does not offer any type of bonus or pay above the hourlywage rate. However, tips may beavailable.9) Boarding options: Voluntary, low-cost housing is available to workersfor the option to board;$650.00/month is deducted from workers paychecks for workers who choosehousing; all utilities paid;housing is not mandatory.10) Employer will make all deductions for workers paycheck as requiredby law; deductions Employerintends to make from paycheck, which are not required by law, ifapplicable, would be deductions forhousing, as discussed above, if employee choose voluntary housingoption. Employer may allowdeductions not required by law as long as advance permission is grantedby employee or Employer willstate the specific deductions.11) If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, theemployer will reimburse the worker for ransportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to theplace of work. Upon completion of thework contract or where the worker is dismissed early, employer willprovide or pay for the workers easonable costs of return transportation and daily subsistence backhome or to the place the workeroriginally departed to work, except where the worker will not return dueto subsequent employment withanother employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursementwill be equal to the mosteconomical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.Daily subsistence will be providedat a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum f $68.00 perday with receipts.12) Employer will pay for the workers cost of return transportation anddaily subsistence from the place ofemployment to the place from which the worker, disregarding interveningemployment, departed to workfor the employer, if the worker completes the certified period ofemployment or is dismissed fromemployment for any reason by the employer before the end of the period,as is also outlined above.13) Employer does provide daily transportation to the worksite.14) Employer will reimburse H-2B worker in the first workweek for allvisa, visa processing, bordercrossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by thegovernment incurred by the H-2Bworker via check issued to employee (but need not include passportexpenses or other charges primarilyfor the benefit of the worker).15) Employer will provide workers, without charge or deposit charge, alltools, supplies, equipment equired to perform duties assigned.16) Applicants are to inquire about the job opportunity or sendapplications directly to the nearest office of he State Workforce Agency:Vermont Department of Labor5 Green Mountain DriveMontpelier, VT 05601-0488Phone: (802) 828-4394Fax: (802) 828-2195
