Join a dynamic cardiac care team as a Cath Lab Technologist in a leading South Florida hospital. This contract role offers the opportunity to work with advanced catheterization lab equipment and contribute to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.Location: Situated in Miami, FL, this facility features a state-of-the-art cardiac cath lab with five rooms and on-call requirements. The unit supports a 1:1 patient ratio, working closely with unit secretaries and tech staff to ensure seamless operations.Key Responsibilities:Perform a variety of cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology (EP), and interventional radiology (IR) proceduresOperate and maintain cath lab equipment, ensuring patient safety and procedural accuracyCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient careDocument procedures accurately using Meditech and MacLab systemsRespond promptly when on-call to support emergency casesQualifications and Desired Experience:Certified Vascular Laboratory (CVL) Tech requiredActive ACLS and BLS certifications mandatoryProven cath lab experience essential; EP experience preferredAdditional certifications such as Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), and/or Respiratory Therapist (RT) are highly desirableAbility to work independently and adapt efficiently in a fast-paced clinical settingSchedule:Day shift hours with on-call responsibilities as per unit requirementsAbout the Location:Miami offers a vibrant cultural scene, diverse culinary experiences, and beautiful coastal surroundings.
