Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM + rotating weekends and holidaysAs a Patient Safety Technician, you will make a real impact by supporting clients in their daily activities while helping maintain a safe, therapeutic environment. Intervenes appropriately and therapeutically in crisis situations using crisis intervention preventions and trauma informed care.Demonstrate competence in recognizing and responding to patients physical, mental, emotional and developmental needs utilizing crisis prevention intervention and trauma informed care.Education:High school diploma or equivalent.License(s)/Certification(s):Possession of a valid Class “D” Iowa driver’s license or an equivalent license from the employee’s state of residence.CPR CPI (Crisis Prevention and Intervention) training, initial & yearly renewalExperience:Knowledge of proper food handling and preparation. Mental health or substance disorder experience preferred.*Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs.
