This position will be based at our Kohler, Wisconsin location.We specialize in manufacturing high-quality cast iron products.Crafting Excellence: Your ResponsibilitiesUnderstand, properly setupand proficientlyoperatea variety of welding equipmente.g.SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, Oxy-Acetylene cutting,Plazmacutting, Arc Carbon Arc cutting, power tools, shop equipment, etc.Working from drawings, plant layouts, or verbal orders, perform a wide variety of fabrication assignments,operatinga variety of power equipment and machinery.Working knowledge of welding symbols with the ability to weld to the specifications defined by those symbols.Weld to proper dimensions andto meetgeneral test requirements.Work from drawings, job layouts, and sketches.Fit, position, and weld a variety of itemse.g.frames, bases, hoppers, covers, hoods, pipes, production serviceequipmentand machinery, etc.Chip and grind welds asrequired.Perform a variety of duties requiringa cutting torch.Safely and effectivelyoperateall shop fabrication equipment.Understanddifferent typesof steel and variouspreheatrequirements.Be capable of using Computerized Maintenance Management software to create worknotifications,look-upand order parts, print work orders, and enter time confirmations.You’ll Love Working HereHealth insurance with premiums as low as $20 per month, dental and vision insurance, and company-paid disability and life insurance starting on Day 1.401k plan with company match and pension, plus voluntary benefits such as identity protection and pet insurance.Up to 10 paid holidays annually after60 daysand up to 2 weeks of paid vacation in your first year.Discounts on Kohler products.Tuitionassistancefor advanced education.Opportunities for growth and career advancement.Ready to make a bold impact?Here'sthe qualifications we are looking for:Skills/RequirementsMust be able to work in the US without restriction or sponsorship.Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes.Mustbe at least 18 years old.Preferred QualificationsHigh School diploma/GEDrequired.Technical diploma is desiredRequired to achieve a passing score on technical skills test and hands-on assessment.Must be capable ofoperatinga forklift.Must provideowntools.Must pass State of Wisconsin structural welding certification, unlimited thickness, A-36 plate in all positions within 90-days of start date.Additional RequirementsPhysical Capability: Ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation including but not limited to bending, lifting, and pushingweight.Screening:Successful completion of a drug screen and background check.Reliability:Consistent attendance and work performance.Safety Compliance:Follow all safety policies and procedures.Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.We believe in supporting you from the moment you join us, which is why Kohler offers day 1 benefits.
