Production Worker

Job Title: Production Worker Location: Hoosick Falls, NY 12090 Work Schedule: Sun to Thu, From 10:30 pm to 7:00 am Pay rate: USD $19 Contract: 5-month duration (temp to hire) Qualifications: + Minimum: High school diploma, GED, or 2u20133 years manufacturing experience + Ability to work independently and in a team environment + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Good mechanical and reasoning abilities + Preferred: Manufacturing experience, familiarity with safety programs, strong PC skills (Word, Excel, presentations), knowledge of World Class Manufacturing, and understanding of quality/board specifications Work Environment & Physical Demands: + Regular office and manufacturing plant environment, with possible exposure to industrial materials and temperature extremes (hot and cold) + Occasional and mandatory overtime may be required to meet deadlines + Must be able to wear PPE as per safety standards + Physical requirements include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., twisting, gripping, and stair climbing Responsibilities: + Operate production equipment and product cleaning processes; move materials as needed + Maintain responsibility for product quality and perform tests to ensure standards are met + Inspect and maintain equipment; address breakdowns and deficiencies promptly to maintain like-new standards + Operate mobile equipment to move wallboard and raw materials + Manage inventory of finished goods, raw materials, and scrap; reorder/replenish as needed + Maintain high housekeeping standards and follow 5S principles + Engage in team meetings, openly discuss improvements, and receive feedback + Participate in World Class Manufacturing (WCM) initiatives and coordinator functions + Learn and perform different plant jobs; teach skills to others both on the job and in classroom settings + Support other technicians and plant teams at all times; perform other duties as required As part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
