Safety Coordinator

Job Description Position Overview A client of Insight Global is seeking a Safety Coordinator to sit fully onsite in Sterling, VA. The Site Safety Coordinator supports Crew Foremen and General Foremen in developing Job Hazard Analyses to ensure OSHA compliance. This entry-level role is focused on delivering world-class customer experience and quality, and plays a key part in building trusted relationships with clients. Key Responsibilities u2022 Compliance: Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal safety regulations. u2022 Training & Awareness: Assist in developing and delivering safety training programs. u2022 Incident Reporting: Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and near misses. u2022 Safety Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of workplace, equipment, and facilities. u2022 Emergency Response: Help develop emergency plans and assist during drills. u2022 Record Keeping: Maintain safety records and generate reports. u2022 Safety Committees: Participate in meetings and recommend improvements. u2022 Safety Communication: Create safety bulletins, posters, and newsletters. u2022 PPE Monitoring: Ensure proper use and availability of personal protective equipment. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to safety initiatives and process enhancements. Compensation: $25/hr to $32/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
