Accounting Consultant

Description We are looking for an Accounting Consultant with extensive NetSuite implementation experience. This role will focus on supporting data migration, validation, and reconciliation efforts as part of an ongoing NetSuite implementation. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounts receivable, billing workflows, and data integrity processes. This contract role can be remote. Responsibilities: u2022 Lead the migration of accounts receivable and billing data from Salesforce to NetSuite, ensuring accurate data extraction, transformation, and loading. u2022 Validate migrated data, including customer records, invoices, and AR balances, to ensure it meets accuracy and completeness standards. u2022 Collaborate with finance, operations, and implementation teams to establish data mapping, validation criteria, and reconciliation rules. u2022 Conduct detailed reconciliations between source systems like Salesforce and target systems such as NetSuite to verify transactional integrity. u2022 Identify and address discrepancies or data quality issues, providing resolutions to maintain data reliability. u2022 Perform data cleansing and normalization activities both before and after migration. u2022 Create and maintain Excel-based reconciliation files and validation tools to support accurate data tracking and reporting. u2022 Support testing phases, including cutover and post-go-live validation, for AR and billing workflows. Requirements Experience: u2022 Extensive hands-on experience with NetSuite implementations, particularly in accounts receivable and billing workflows. u2022 Proven track record in data migration and validation processes; prior experience with Salesforce is strongly preferred. u2022 In-depth knowledge of NetSuite data structures and reporting capabilities related to AR and billing. u2022 Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and reconciliation techniques. u2022 Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively. u2022 Excellent problem-solving abilities and technical aptitude, especially when working with large data sets. u2022 Ability to communicate findings and updates clearly to both finance and technical teams.
