Job Title: Quality Inspector Job Description Candidates will utilize calipers and micrometers to inspect parts coming off the machine. A great attention to detail is essential. Responsibilities + Use calipers and micrometers to inspect parts for quality assurance. + Maintain precise records of inspections and part counts. + Read and interpret blueprints to ensure components meet specifications. + Conduct visual inspections to identify defects in parts. Essential Skills + Mechanical aptitude. + Proficiency with blueprints. + Experience using micrometers and calipers. + Strong attention to detail. Work Environment Work in an air-conditioned, updated precision department featuring 100 different CNC machines, including 83 Swiss machines and 17 mill/lathe machines. The role allows the flexibility to either sit or stand, providing a comfortable work setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wheeling, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
