Application Programmer III

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking an Application Programmer III to join their team. As an Application Programmer III, you will be part of the Data Solutions Department supporting data ingestion, query solutions, and enterprise data management. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Application Programmer III with Elasticsearch, DB2 exp. Location: Pennington, NJ (Hybrid -3 days onsite per week) Only W2 What's the Job? + Design, develop, and support data ingestion and query solutions using Elasticsearch and DB2 technologies. + Optimize Elasticsearch indices and data pipelines from DB2 and other enterprise data sources. + Create and maintain DB2 SQL queries, tables, and data structures utilizing distributed tools. + Manage Autosys jobs to support scheduled data processing workflows. + Ensure solutions meet functional, performance, security, and compliance standards while providing ongoing production support. What's Needed? + Proven experience with Elasticsearch, including schema design and data loading. + Hands-on experience with DB2 and distributed tools such as Toad Data and IBM ID/z. + Familiarity with Autosys scheduling and workflow management. + Strong knowledge of SQL, data structures, and data management best practices. + Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within diverse, cross-functional teams.
