Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Physician to work at a facility in Berkeley , MO. These are _registry_ positions with our company. Pay Rate: $120 / hour Required Services: A. Clinical Primary Care Services 1. The Contractor shall provide board certified primary care physicians to provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services for adults, women, and children AT St. Louis County Department of Public Healthu2019s (DPH) health clinics. Family Physicians and Internists will be considered. Family Physicians willing to care for adults, women and children are preferred. While direct care services are the focus of this proposal, DPH may request contracting of physician non-clinical time to provide clinical consultation in the development and oversight of new clinical programs, quality improvement activities and like initiatives. 2. DPH seeks up to 2.0 full time equivalent (FTE) physician coverage. Location of service is subject to change based on County need. 3. Clinical services shall be provided 48 weeks per year, excluding St. Louis County Government holidays. Contractor shall make every effort to provide a stable clinician workforce with each provider maintaining a regular practice and panel of patients at a minimum of one location. Contractor shall be responsible for tracking paid time off and reporting annual totals per provider on each invoice. Deliverables A. Ensuring treatment provided to patients is concordant with current evidence-based best practices and national treatment guidelines B. Maintaining current, accurate and timely medical services documentation and proficiency in the use of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) per DPH policy C. Documenting services and billing consistent with commonly accepted documentation standards for the level of service provided D. Complying with billing and documentation requirements of grant programs in which DPH participates E. Maintaining credentialing as requested by DPH F. Practicing within the resources and scope of services available at DPH G. Committing to collaborating respectfully with an interdisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive services to patients H. Testifying, relative to services rendered under the terms of the contract and scope of work, in response to a subpoena properly issued from any court I. Attending provider meeting and other administrative meetings at the request of DPH J. Working with the DPH Clinical Quality Improvement (CQI) Committee, or other committees/work groups to improve processes related to primary care services Required Qualifications and Contractor Responsibilities A. Provide primary medical care and treatment according to community standards of acceptable care B. At Contractoru2019s expense, and for each physician providing services, Contractor will submit to DPH proof of a background check from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, inclusive of a fingerprint submission and security awareness certification C. Maintain active board certification in a primary care specialty D. Possess a license to practice medicine in the State of Missouri and maintain registration with the Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs and the Drug Enforcement Agency E. Meet federal and state eligibility requirements to participate in Medicaid and Medicare F. Hold current American Heart Association Basic Life Support or more advanced certification G. Maintain annual Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) certification H. Be capable, and if applicable certified, to perform standard outpatient clinical procedures V. DPH Responsibilities A. DPH will provide the following: 1. The necessary equipment to carry out the functions of the position, including, but not limited to, a computer, phone and printer access, and a clean, safe workspace. 2. System and security training, including: a. Information Technology (IT) security awareness training b. EHR training and certification c.
