CDN Engineer

Job Description A healthcare client is looking for a CDN Engineer (Content Delivery Network) to sit fully remote. This person is going to be dedicated to any public/production facing systems within the enterprise, making changes and managing releases. At this time, the organization has multiple CDN platforms however they are trying to standardize into AKAMAI. It is most important that this person has hands on experience with the platform being able to configure and automate. On a day to day, this person will work on hard fixes, configuration management and work towards the upkeep CDN security. This person will be responsible for adjusting configurations, setting up new properties and working through specific CDN configurations. This person should understand network concepts and how thing flow through one another (TCP/IP, TLS/mTLS, DNS, HTTP, Proxy, Load Balancing). Observability experience to monitor traffic through a traffic peak and other monitoring systems Experience with automation with python, ansible or terraform Grafana u2013 observability
