Your role and responsibilities As a Brand Sales Specialist for Data Platform, you will create demand and progress opportunities to close for Data Platform solutions. You will specialize in IBM's comprehensive portfolio of data platform products, driving sales growth and customer adoption. Your primary responsibilities will include: u2022 Develop Solution Opportunities: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, leveraging knowledge of Data Platform solutions to meet customer needs and drive business growth. u2022 Progress Opportunities to Close: Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to progress sales opportunities through the sales cycle, ensuring timely closure and revenue growth. u2022 Create Demand for Data Platform: Develop and execute demand generation strategies to increase awareness and interest in Data Platform solutions among customers and prospects. u2022 Build Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and identifying opportunities to deliver value through Data Platform solutions. u2022 Drive Sales Growth: Utilize industry knowledge and sales expertise to drive sales growth and expand IBM's presence in the data platform market. Required technical and professional expertise u2022 Data Platform Solutions Knowledge: Experience with IBM's Data Platform solutions, including but not limited to watsonx Code Assistant, OpenPages, Business Analytics Enterprise, and Cloud Pak for Data, with the ability to identify and pursue new sales opportunities.u2022 Sales Cycle Management: Experience in managing sales cycles, progressing opportunities to close, and collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders to drive revenue growth.u2022 Demand Generation Strategies: Experience in developing and executing demand generation strategies to increase awareness and interest in Data Platform solutions among customers and prospects. u2022 Industry Knowledge and Sales Expertise: Experience in utilizing industry knowledge and sales expertise to drive sales growth and expand presence in the data platform market.u2022 Customer Relationship Building: Experience in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, understanding their business needs, and identifying opportunities to deliver value through Data Platform solutions. Preferred technical and professional experience u2022 Data Platform Portfolio Knowledge: Experience with a broad range of Data Platform solutions, including watsonx Code Assistant, OpenPages, Business Analytics Enterprise, and Cloud Pak for Data, to identify and pursue new sales opportunities.u2022 Multi-Product Sales Expertise: Experience in managing sales cycles and progressing opportunities to close across multiple Data Platform products, with the ability to collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to drive revenue growth.u2022 Industry-Specific Sales Strategies: Experience in developing and executing demand generation strategies tailored to specific industries, increasing awareness and interest in Data Platform solutions among customers and prospects.IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
