Okta IAM Engineer

Weu2019re looking for a hands-on Senior Software Engineer with strong coding skills and deep experience in Okta and modern IAM systems. This is a highu2011visibility role focused on transforming our client's user identity platform, implementing enterprise SSO, and building a new authorization system from the ground up. Pay Rate: $85- $110/hr. W2 + Lead the redesign of user identity management and authorization systems. + Build and integrate Okta authorizers, custom authorizers, and cloudu2011native IAM components. + Implement SSO across multiple products and ensure identity/policy integration into Apogee (API). + Write high-quality Java code and contribute to CI/CD and GitHub workflows daily. + Work with Auth0, Kafka, and AWS cloud services. + Collaborate with a fully remote engineering team + Strong expertise with Okta (advanced configs, policies, APIs, custom integrations). + Hands-on engineering depth with Java, CI/CD, GitHub, and cloud-native patterns. + Experience with Auth0, SSO, and modern IAM architecture. + Familiarity with AWS and Kafka. + Excellent communication with senior technical stakeholders. + Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, high-priority environment + An inspirational place for you to do your best work, be engaged in meaningful ways, and continually develop the skills, competencies and qualities that set our team apart. + Compensation commensurate with your qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market and operational factors. + Total Rewards include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Professional Development Program, Paid Time Off and Paid Sick Time (in geographies where legally required).
