This is a Sherman Associates owned IHG franchised location. The shuttle driver is responsible for greeting and welcoming arriving guests as they enter the hotel. Assisting both arriving and departing guests with baggage handling. Providing a consistently high degree of both friendliness and efficiency for all guests and visitors by driving regular hotel routes and on request based on guest requests. When needed, valet park guest vehicles in a safe and orderly manner. Schedule: Part-time employment opportunity Both weekday and weekend availability is strongly preferred. Essential Functions + Posts in the hotel lobby near the door to welcome incoming and thanking outgoing guests + Offers assistance to answer questions and help with guests at every opportunity + Drives a designated route for guests in a safe and secure manner + Drives upon special request to destinations within a 5-mile radius of the hotel in an efficient and safe manner + Assists incoming and outgoing guests with the loading and unloading of baggage into and out of automobiles as requested + Assists with storage of guest baggage upon request + Informs guests of all safety features and, if time permits, promote hotel outlets + Contributes to a fun, energized and comfortable working environment + Completes additional duties as assigned Required Experience: Minimum Requirements + Must be over 25 years of age and have a valid driveru2019s license with a safe DMV driving record + No prior shuttle driver experience required; Customer service experience in the hospitality industry strongly preferred + Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions in a multi-lingual environment + A passion for the mission, vision, and values of Sherman Associates + Schedule may vary due to the specific needs of the hotel + Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws regarding health and safety services ADDITIONAL SCREENING REQUIREMENTS + Current and valid driveru2019s license is required.
