OSP Project Manager

Position: OSP Project Manager Location: Charlotte, NC Job Id: 3470 # of Openings: 1 Farnsworth Group is seeking an OSP Project Manager in one of the posting locations below. Qualified candidates will work with our Energy & Utility Group as a part of the Telecommunications Team in the planning, drafting, design, permitting and construction administration of telecommunications and utility projects. Posting Locations for this role: Lisle, IL; Frisco, TX; Charlotte, NC; or St. Louis, MO What You'll Do: + Manage client relationships and projects + Support development of proposals u2013 including project scope, schedule and budget + Complete design and posting of telecommunications projects + Review projects for accuracy, quality, and adherence to client specifications + Plan and oversee work production to meet project deadlines and budgets + Oversee work completed by technical and professional production staff + Provide direction and support for permit plans and work prints drafted in AutoCAD, Microstation, Bluebeam, etc. + Provide office support for site visits and participate in site visits which may include overnight travel What You'll Need: + Minimum of 4 years of OSP design experience + Experience in all aspects of Legal Mandate, IFP, Fiber Overbuild, FTTH, or LightGIG projects u2013 including field data gathering, design and permitting + Positive work ethic and excellent communication skills + Ability to effectively manage time while working on several projects concurrently whether in the office or field/remotely Nice To Haves: + Supervisory experience in OSP engineering design or construction + Experience in surveying or utility locating + Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation + Bacheloru2019s or Associate degree a plus + Degree in Engineering or related field a plus Who We Are Join Farnsworth Group, a nationally recognized architectural, engineering, and surveying firm, where your career can thrive For ten consecutive years, weu2019ve been certified as a Great Place to Worku00ae, and our engineers, architects, surveyors, and scientists channel their passion and expertise into making meaningful contributions to the world around us.
