This job was posted by : For more information, please see: **Overview** The Vermont Department of Health (VDH) is seeking an individual with human service experience to join the Quality, Compliance and Clinical Services Team as a Substance Use Program Manager, currently based at the Department of Health in Waterbury, Vermont. This position will join a collaborative team working with treatment and recovery programs receiving grant funds from the Division of Substance Use Programs (DSU). This position is responsible for measuring the compliance of substance use disorder treatment and recovery services as it relates to established state and federal guidelines in an objective and comprehensive manner. A successful applicant will be able to: - Write comprehensive reports that objectively reflects information provided and develop recommendations and/or requirements. - Work with organizations to develop improvement plans and oversee progress to ensure compliance. - Ensure that program review timelines are met. - Successfully facilitate meetings and actively listen to varying interests and perspectives. - **Environmental Factors** Duties are performed in both a standard office and field settings. Private means of transportation must be available for required travel. Stress may be anticipated in dealing with emotional situations involving application of programs, especially in dealing with families and in the allocation of program resources.
