Physician, Department Chair of Anesthesiology

Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC), a member hospital of Dartmouth Health (DH), is seeking an experienced, collaborative physician leader to serve as Department Chair of Anesthesia. In this position, you will maintain an active clinical practice while leading a team of anesthesiologists and anesthesiologist assistants.As Department Chair, you will foster a culture of collaboration, support provider development and lead quality and performance improvement. The Chair will partner with the Director of Perioperative Services and Chair of Surgical Services to ensure alignment with institutional goals and strategic priorities while advancing clinical excellence and patient centered care.Engaged Anesthesiology team which is highly invested in teamwork and optimal patient outcomesSalary Range $550,000 - $560,000; this position includes a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, retirement, PTO, and CME support).
