We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.Provide leadership and oversight of Network Services operations, including WAN, LAN, wireless, SD-WAN, and network security platformsOversee daily operational activities, including incident management, problem resolution, and service availabilityServe as escalation point for high-priority network and infrastructure issuesCoordinate and prioritize workload across Network Services teams, including infrastructure and security-focused functionsSupport ongoing and planned initiatives, including:SD-WAN implementation and optimizationNetwork monitoring and observability tools (e.g., ThousandEyes, AppDynamics)Security integrations (e.g., Secure Workload, NGFW, identity services)Provide vendor coordination and oversight for network-related services and contractsEnsure compliance with Agency security standards, policies, and regulatory requirementsParticipate in change management processes and ensure proper documentation and approvalsCollaborate with Infrastructure Engineering, Data Center, Telecom, and Security teams to support cross-functional initiativesProvide status reporting, risk identification, and mitigation planning to leadershipMaintain documentation of network architecture, processes, and operational proceduresSupport knowledge transfer and continuity planning for the return of the permanent Network Services Manager**Location of job: Hybrid. Candidates must be local to Austin, TX**Minimum Requirements:Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity.YearsRequired/PreferredExperience7RequiredMinimum of seven (7) years’ experience performing supervisory/management work including providing clear direction to subordinates; promoting teamwork and motivating others to accomplish goals.7PreferredMinimum of seven (7) years’ of experience with administration, maintenance, and design of Cisco VoIP solutions is required.5PreferredMinimum of five (5) years’ experience managing a networking team in a highly complex environment.5PreferredExperienced with implementation and support of 24x7x365 network, voice, and video environment.
