Pharmacy Support AssistantUnityPoint Health - Prairie ParkwayCedar Falls, IowaShift: PRN, As neededHours: 7:30a-6p M-F; 10a-6p Sat and Sun; rotating shiftsThe Pharmacy Support Assistant provides essential administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the pharmacy. This role involves assisting pharmacy staff with non-clinical tasks such as inventory management, data entry, cleaning, customer service, general clerical duties and pickup and delivery of pharmacy medications/or items.At UnityPoint Health, you matter. And, we believe equipping you with support and development opportunities is a vital part of delivering an exceptional employment experience.Find a fulfilling career and make a difference with UnityPoint Health.Delivering of medicationsAssisting the out-window/drive-thru at the Prairie Parkway PharmacyDelivering excellent, direct patient customer serviceStocking supplies/medications on shelves.Assisting in clerical work in the pharmacy as assigned.Assisting in errands as assigned.RequiredRegistered with the Board of Pharmacy as pharmacy support staff prior to the first day of work or registered as a tech in training or certified pharmacy technician at the time of hire.Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak fluent English.Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.Preferred2 years of prior cash handling and customer service experience in retail environment.Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
