Details discussed during the interview process.Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Relocation Assistance: Available for candidates relocating from outside the state of Illinois.Salary Range: $1,332 - $1,792.80 per week (base gross), based on a 36-hour (3x12-hour) schedule; equivalent to $37.00 - $49.80 per hour.Department: Cardiopulmonary / Respiratory TherapyJob Type: Full-Time | Non-ExemptLocation: Chicago Metro Area, Illinois - big-city lifestyle, strong healthcare market, no car required, lakefront living.✔ Interview within 24 - 48 hours | Fast Offer Process✔ Work in a high-acuity, critical care environment and advanced respiratory cases✔ Competitive pay + shift differentials✔ Career growth within a large healthcare systemThe Respiratory Care Practitioner II (RCP II) / Respiratory Therapist (RRT) delivers respiratory therapy treatments and pulmonary diagnostic services in an acute care setting, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of care across all patient populations.Administer respiratory therapy treatments (oxygen, aerosol, airway management)Manage ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and high-flow oxygen systemsPerform pulmonary diagnostics (ABGs, PFTs)Implement patient-specific respiratory care plansDocument care in the EMRRespond to code blue and rapid response eventsCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomesMay serve as Lead RCP during assigned shiftsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING1. State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required2. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.3. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required4. 2 years experience as an RCP preferred.5. ACLS certificate within 60 day of hire and maintain current.6. NRP certificate preferred7. PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current.8. Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred9.
