Prepare asphalt surfaces by cleaning, blowing, edging, and removing debrisAssist with mixing, loading, and applying sealcoat material to driveways, parking lots, and roadwaysUse brushes, squeegees, and spray systems to apply sealcoat evenlySet up cones, barricades, and signage to ensure safe work zonesMaintain tools, hoses, and equipment; assist with clean-up at the end of each shiftAssist with crack filling, line striping, and other related tasks as neededFollow safety protocols and wear PPE at all timesWork cooperatively with team members and take direction from the foremanPerform additional duties as assignedWe are looking for a hard-working and reliable Sealcoat Crew Laborer to assist with asphalt maintenance and sealcoating operations. This role involves prepping surfaces, applying sealcoat, handling equipment, and supporting the crew to ensure jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and to quality standards. It’s a hands-on, outdoor job that requires attention to detail and a strong work ethic.Previous experience in sealcoating or asphalt maintenance is a plus, but not requiredMust be at least 18 years of ageAbility to work outdoors in hot weather and perform physical labor for extended periodsComfortable working with hand tools, machinery, and materialsMust be dependable, punctual, and willing to learnValid driver’s license preferred; CDL is a plusAbility to follow verbal instructions and work as part of a teamAbility to work long hours, including weekends and evenings, as neededMust be willing to travel overnight when projects are outside the local areaWork EnvironmentOutdoor job sites with exposure to heat, fumes, and physically demanding tasksRequires standing, lifting, bending, and carrying up to 50-75 lbsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
