Facilities Maintenance Technician (Industrial Setting) Shift: Must be open to 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift Pay: $36-$40 (depends on experience) PTO, Paid Holidays, Paid Shut Down Job Description Join our Facilities department where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our building and utility operations. The Facilities department is responsible for new construction, remodels, utility management, and equipment maintenance, ensuring that our facilities meet high standards of quality and efficiency. Responsibilities + Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and building control systems. + Complete daily assigned work order tasks and communicate any follow-up needed. + Evaluate and recommend equipment improvements to enhance availability, capability, and yield. + Perform equipment failure analysis and troubleshoot equipment problems. + Participate in a reliability-centered maintenance program for long-term equipment reliability. + Mentor and build team through work habits, communication, and sharing of knowledge. + Expand and maintain technical expertise through formal and on-the-job training opportunities. + Support activities that drive new ideas and leverage new technology to improve competitiveness. Essential Skills + Completion of a 2-year technical degree or equivalent equipment service experience. + 3 years of experience in a facilities environment, industrial or heavy commercial preferred. + Working knowledge of facilities low and medium voltage electrical equipment. + Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment such as HVAC, refrigeration, air compressors, and plumbing. + Good written and verbal communication skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. + Self-motivated with creative thinking and a positive attitude. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bellefontaine, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $40.00/hr.
