Inventory Control Specialist

Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist Pay: $21-$29 Shift: 1st Shift Moinday-Friday 7am-3:30pm OR 8:15am-4:45pm Job Description The Inventory Control Specialist maintains optimal inventory levels to support production and operational efficiency while following established policies and procedures. This role focuses on tracking, analyzing, and reconciling inventory records to ensure accuracy, availability, and timely material flow. The specialist works closely with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to optimize inventory movement, support manufacturing schedules, and minimize discrepancies across the operation. Responsibilities + Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels. + Track, analyze, and reconcile inventory records. + Use MRP/ERP systems to manage inventory transactions. + Support shipping and packing activitities. + Identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies. + Utilize MS Office tools, especially Excel.such as lithium-ion or similar materials, in accordance with applicable procedures and guidelines when required. + Maintain accurate documentation and records for inventory movements, shipping, and receiving activities. + Support periodic and cycle counts. Essential Skills + Minimum of 1u20132 years of related functional experience in stockroom, inventory, or a similar environment. + Foundational knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations. + Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). + Experience working with MRP/ERP systems for inventory tracking and control. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pottstown, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $29.00/hr.
