Job Title: Mortgage Indexing Administrative SpecialistJob Description This full-time role focuses on accurately reviewing and indexing electronic documentation related to mortgage loans. You will identify and categorize documents such as title binders and verifications of employment, then assign them to the correct loan numbers. The position requires strong attention to detail, high data entry accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Responsibilities + Review electronic documentation submitted by borrowers and third parties for completeness and clarity. + Identify the type of document received, such as title binders, verifications of employment, and other mortgage-related forms. + Accurately index and categorize documents within the system according to established procedures. + Assign each document to the correct loan number and ensure all information aligns with loan records. + Maintain high levels of speed and accuracy while performing alpha-numeric data entry. + Follow standardized workflows and guidelines to ensure consistent handling of all documentation. + Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies or questions about documentation. + Meet high-volume productivity goals and tight deadlines without compromising quality. + Support general administrative and clerical tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly. + Continuously learn and adapt to changes in processes, systems, and mortgage documentation requirements. Essential Skills + Proficient alpha-numeric data entry skills with strong accuracy. + Demonstrated ability to perform high-volume data entry in a timely manner. + Basic office and administrative skills, including handling electronic documents. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. + Ability to work effectively as a good team player. + Willingness and eagerness to learn new processes and systems. + Previous mortgage experience preferred. + Familiarity with clerical and administrative tasks in a finance or mortgage-related environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in mortgage, finance, or accounting environments is beneficial. + Background in administrative or clerical roles supporting financial services. + Bacheloru2019s education or coursework in a related field is advantageous. + Comfort working with electronic document management systems. + Ability to stay organized and focused when handling repetitive tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winchester, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
