About the Role Weu2019re seeking a motivated, relationshipu2011driven Civil Engineer to help expand our Land Development practice and play a visible role in shaping the future of our firm. This is a clientu2011facing leadership position ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical excellence with strategic thinking, mentorship, and business development. Youu2019ll work closely with private real estate developers, lead multidisciplinary project teams, and take ownership of proposals, budgets, and client relationships. What Youu2019ll Do + Build and maintain trusted relationships with private land development and redevelopment clients + Lead business development efforts, including proposal writing, fee development, and project scoping + Manage client accounts, including billing, collections, and longu2011term engagement strategy + Oversee and guide civil design teams, ensuring quality, efficiency, and onu2011time delivery + Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and designers + Participate in and lead internal training sessions, management meetings, and strategic initiatives + Partner closely with the Land Development Practice Area Director on quality assurance, staff development, project performance, and mission alignment Core Skills & Expertise + Civil engineering design for land development projects + Site planning, subdivision design, and utility layout + Project management and team leadership + Civil 3D and AutoCAD + Permitting and agency coordination + Stormwater management, erosion & sediment control + Geotechnical coordination and traffic impact awareness + Construction administration and management + Client billing, account oversight, and proposal development Qualifications + Bacheloru2019s degree in Civil Engineering + 5+ years of relevant land development experience + Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred (or the ability to obtain) + Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Why Youu2019ll Love Working Here We offer more than a jobu2014we offer a place to grow.
