As a key member of the leadership team, youu2019ll oversee engineering and maintenance functions while influencing plant-wide strategy, reliability, and cost efficiency. Position Overview As the senior leader responsible for engineering and maintenance, you will ensure the reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of all plant equipment and systems. Youu2019ll champion proactive maintenance strategies, oversee capital investments, and lead a skilled technical team in a fast-moving production environment. Key Responsibilities Capital Project Leadership Drive the planning and execution of capital projects from initial concept through completion. Ensure projects are delivered safely, within budget, and aligned with operational goals while minimizing disruption to production. Reliability & Maintenance Strategy Design and implement robust maintenance programs, including preventive and predictive approaches, to improve equipment uptime and operational efficiency. Continuously evaluate and enhance systems to support long-term reliability. Team Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing maintenance and engineering team. Establish clear expectations, promote accountability, and foster a culture centered on safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Operational Problem Solving Provide hands-on leadership in troubleshooting equipment and process challenges. Implement both immediate corrective actions and sustainable long-term solutions to prevent recurrence. Performance Metrics & Continuous Improvement Develop and monitor key performance indicators related to equipment reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and operational performance. Use data insights to identify opportunities and drive measurable improvements. Safety & Compliance Ensure all engineering and maintenance activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Promote a safety-first mindset across all levels of the organization. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with operations, quality, and leadership teams to align engineering priorities with business objectives and production demands. Qualifications + Bacheloru2019s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) + 10+ years of experience in engineering and/or maintenance within a manufacturing environment + Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role with direct team management responsibilities + Strong technical knowledge across mechanical and electrical systems, including exposure to PLCs and industrial automation + Proven experience managing capital projects and maintenance systems + Familiarity with CMMS platforms and standard business software tools + Demonstrated ability to analyze data, solve complex problems, and implement effective solutions + Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences Preferred Experience + Background in high-volume or food production manufacturing environments + Experience working in fast-paced, continuous operations + Track record of building strong teams and fostering a positive workplace culture If you meet the above qualifications and would like to apply for this position, please click APPLY NOW and upload your most current resume or you may email your resume to our recruiter, Heather Murphy at .
