Job Title: Control Panel Wirer text 6 3 0 6 2 5 9 1 0 4 if interested Job Description This position is responsible for the wiring and final assembly of panel boards related to low and medium voltage switchgears. Responsibilities + Wire electrical control panels and related components. + Follow wiring diagrams and schematics accurately. + Install pre-wired panels into control boxes. + Terminate wiring based on schematic instructions. + Diagnose and troubleshoot issues using blueprints and schematic drawings to determine wiring layout. + Inspect parts to identify defects and ensure quality standards are met. + Use proper protective equipment and tools as required by the task. + Maintain regular in-person attendance as a crucial part of this role. Essential Skills + At least 2 years of experience as a Panel Builder or Panel Wirer in a job shop environment. + Knowledge of electrical symbols and schematics. + Basic computer skills. + Proficiency in using shop equipment and hand tools. + Ability to perform basic math functions, including understanding fractions and decimals. + Capability to follow instructions and work effectively with others. + Fluent in reading, writing, and conversing in English to facilitate department huddles, collaborate with engineers and project managers, and assign duties to team members. The facility is equipped to handle everything from fabrication, welding, wiring, to assembly, ensuring a comprehensive manufacturing process. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Charles, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
