Description We are looking for a motivated Attorney to join a respected and expanding law firm in Southfield, Michigan. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil litigation and a solid understanding of medical malpractice cases. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior associates and partners on diverse legal matters, providing excellent growth and learning potential. Responsibilities: u2022 Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, written discovery, and legal memoranda. u2022 Develop and present well-reasoned legal arguments in support of client cases. u2022 Represent clients at hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings. u2022 Communicate effectively with clients to address their needs and provide legal guidance. u2022 Collaborate with opposing counsel on procedural and substantive legal issues. u2022 Manage a diverse caseload with attention to deadlines and quality of work. u2022 Work closely with senior associates and partners to strategize and execute litigation plans. Requirements u2022 At least one year of experience in civil litigation, with exposure to medical malpractice preferred. u2022 Active license to practice law in the state of Michigan. u2022 Strong research, writing, and analytical skills. u2022 Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple cases effectively. u2022 Excellent oral and written communication skills. u2022 Strong attention to detail. u2022 Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with team members.
