Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for an IT Business Analyst to join our team in Grand Blanc, Michigan. In this Contract to permanent role, you will play a key part in managing and analyzing IT vendor invoices, purchase orders, and financial processes. This position requires someone with strong attention to detail who thrives in a collaborative environment and is skilled in financial analysis and vendor management. Responsibilities: u2022 Review, track, and process IT vendor invoices through payment requests or approved purchase orders. u2022 Ensure purchase order approvals for IT requisitions related to both capital and expense acquisitions across the organization. u2022 Collaborate with finance teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to reconcile discrepancies in contracts, purchase orders, and invoices. u2022 Support the financial team by managing purchase order processes and verifying vendor leases and purchases within IT and PeopleSoft systems. u2022 Act as a liaison to address and escalate issues identified by vendor management, procurement teams, business stakeholders, finance, and external suppliers. u2022 Maintain comprehensive vendor documentation to support audit requirements. u2022 Assist in coordinating periodic vendor business reviews to evaluate performance and compliance. u2022 Monitor vendor contractual obligations to ensure adherence to agreements. u2022 Perform additional tasks as required to support organizational objectives. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role. u2022 Proficiency in financial analysis and analytics. u2022 Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. u2022 Knowledge of purchase order processes and accounts payable functions. u2022 Experience with PeopleSoft systems. u2022 Strong attention to detail and ability to reconcile financial discrepancies. u2022 Excellent collaboration and communication skills. u2022 Ability to manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with contracts.
