Accountant

Adecco has partnered with a local Beaverton, MI company in search of an Accountant to join their team. In this role, you are responsible for financial statement preparation and reporting for plant location, as well as maintaining the integrity of the general ledger system and developing and maintaining reports at the request of management. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements on a monthly and yearly basis in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles 2. Reconcile and balance the general ledger and subsidiary ledger accounts monthly. 3. Initiates and enters journal entries. 4. Updates and distributes the job cost report. 5. Assists in cash flow and financial forecasting. 6. Review intercompany balances monthly. 7. Review costing in system. 8. Manage daily cycle counts. 9. Initiates all payments in system and submits for approval by controller and CFO. 10. Maintains daily inventory level reports for management. 11. Provides a variety of administrative functions and works on special projects for management. 12. Reconcile expense reports. 13. Manages the credit card program. 14. Assist with year-end audit request. 15. Assist in the completion of annual operating budget. EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS: 1.
