Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Estimator for a Milwaukee, Wisconsin area organization. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, managing customer inquiries, and ensuring effective communication throughout the order process. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong analytical and organizational skills who thrives in a customer-focused environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Analyze project specifications and blueprints to prepare accurate cost estimates. u2022 Generate and manage purchase orders to ensure timely procurement of materials. u2022 Collaborate with customers to provide quotes and address inquiries regarding orders. u2022 Follow up with clients to confirm order details and ensure satisfaction. u2022 Maintain detailed records of estimates, orders, and customer interactions. u2022 Work closely with internal teams to align estimates with project requirements. u2022 Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. u2022 Handle additional responsibilities as assigned to support team objectives. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in estimating or a related role, preferably in a customer-focused industry. u2022 Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents. u2022 Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. u2022 Experience with generating and managing purchase orders. u2022 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. u2022 Proficiency in relevant software tools and applications. u2022 A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
