Description We are a privately held, well-established company with a successful history of manufacturing liquid, semi-solid and powder formulations of both prescription and OTC products. We are looking for a 1st Shift Material Handler u00b7 Performs simple in-process inspections for quality. Quality checks may include: checking for presence and quality of printed lot number, expiration date and sequential number code on shipping cartons. Inspects product and/or components for conformity to quality standards. Calls out from production all, dirty, damaged or non-conforming filled goods and/or components. u00b7 Packages containers into cartons, tapes cartons and places on pallet u00b7 Applies product information or date coding onto shipping cartons on the packaging line. u00b7 Applies closures to filled containers on a packaging line, maintaining speed of application with the speed of the line. u00b7 Maintain packing rate which keeps up with the speed of the line u00b7 Performs cleaning of packaging equipment and facilities as directed by Line Leader. u00b7 Performs cleaning of general workstation and complies with current good manufacturing practices. Pay: $16.50/hr Shift: First (1st) shift: 6:00am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday Additional Skills & Qualifications u2022 Good Listening and comprehension skills. u2022 Must be able to lift 15-20lbs.
