Description We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing the onboarding process and providing ongoing HR support for a large team of contract employees. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a mission-critical project while gaining hands-on experience with industry-leading HR systems and compliance processes. Responsibilities: u2022 Facilitate the onboarding process for new contract employees, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and on time. u2022 Schedule and coordinate pre-employment screenings, including drug tests and background checks, to meet compliance standards. u2022 Maintain and update employee records in HR systems such as UKG Ready, SharePoint, and other platforms. u2022 Organize and upload employee documents to create and maintain a centralized digital filing system. u2022 Monitor and follow up on the completion of new employee paperwork and other employment requirements. u2022 Provide support for benefits enrollment and respond to basic employee inquiries regarding benefits. u2022 Collaborate with operations and contract management teams to ensure efficient HR processes. u2022 Handle confidential employee information with discretion and maintain compliance with organizational policies. u2022 Assist with various administrative tasks and contribute to HR-related projects as needed. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources or high-volume onboarding; experience in the contract or government contract industry is a plus. u2022 Proficiency in using HR systems such as UKG Ready (formerly Ultipro) and SharePoint. u2022 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively. u2022 Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. u2022 Familiarity with compliance processes related to employment screenings, onboarding, and HR recordkeeping. u2022 Ability to work on-site with a consistent 40-hour workweek. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and other standard office software. u2022 A proactive mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
