Job Description: The Mindshare Institute Principal will support Intermountain Healthu2019s mission and vision by sourcing, funding, and developing new opportunities consistent with the Mindshare Instituteu2019s organizational purpose and thesis. _This position is a remote / work from home opportunity with business travel as needed (estimated to be 3-4 days per month in Salt Lake City). Intermountain Health maintains employment registration in Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Colorado, and Montana. Candidates in other locations may be considered. Currently, we are not hiring remote workers in the following states: CA, CT, HI, IL, NY, RI, VT, and WA. Please note that a video interview with Microsoft Teams will be required as well as onsite interviews and/or meetings._ The Mindshare Institute Principal will source, fund, and develop new opportunities consistent with the organizational purpose and thesis. The Mindshare Institute Principal will: + Shape and lead new opportunity sourcing, funding, and development process + Serve as the executive leader of early-stage businesses that are in development (i.e., the incubation-phase initiative executive officer) + Develop an ecosystem of entrepreneurs, business ideas, and other relationships to support new opportunity development. This position will report to the Managing Partner and Associate Director of the Mindshare Institute. Minimum Requirements: + 5+ yearsu2019 experience in investment banking, venture, management consulting, private equity, or startup, innovation; healthcare leadership; business building experience + A track record of successfully working with senior healthcare leaders and other healthcare stakeholders + Reliability, and the ability to balance multiple projects and priorities + Demonstrated ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment + Demonstrated decision-making ability and business judgment + Demonstrated technical and analytical skills + Demonstrated communication skills + The qualified candidate may work from home but must be willing to travel monthly in this role Preferred Qualifications: The Mindshare Institute is seeking an entrepreneurial minded candidate with experience across various healthcare sectors or an individual with prior experience in social investment, business creation and leadership, startup incubation - supporting or building early stage development, including mentorship, funding, and networking to increase success. In addition, prior experience with corporate development is a plus or in mergers, acquisitions or divestitures, financial services, venture capital and/or management consulting is also desirable. + Strong understanding of research, presentation development and valuation methodologies + Significant Venture Capital and network experience. + Significant experience working with senior healthcare leaders and other stakeholders + Master's degree in business administration or similar (e.g., MHA) Additional Information: + This is a remote / work from home exempt full-time position. Pay offers are determined by prior years of relevant experience within the established pay range. In addition to the annual salary, to show our commitment to you and assist with your transition, we may offer a sign-on and relocation bonus when applicable. With this position, you are eligible to participate in the Annual Pay for Performance (AP4P) Plan. This plan enables Intermountain Health to provide leaders with an additional performance compensation opportunity. The AP4P award opportunities are calculated as a percentage of your base salary.
