Assembler / Composite Production Work

Job Title: Composite Worker Location: Spanish Fork, UT Shifts available: 1st Shift / $19.41/hour - Monday- Friday (Off every other Friday) - 6:00 am-3:00 pm 2nd Shift / $20.41 - Monday- Friday (Off every other Friday) - 3:00 pm-12:30 pm Currently working OT on Fridays and/or Saturdays Job Description As an assembler of composites products, you will assist in preparing molds and forms, marking, and cutting materials such as tape, woven material, honeycomb, and adhesive. You will perform tasks like drilling, trimming, and sanding to blueprint dimensions and tolerances. Your role will include operating a vacuum press, assisting in composite material lay-up, and ensuring smooth build-up free from wrinkles and voids. You will also develop shop aids, assemble aircraft components, prepare surfaces for painting, and apply coatings using a spray gun. Quality assurance is a priority, and you will maintain records, verify material quality, and ensure a safe working environment. Essential Skills + High school diploma or GED. + Ability to communicate verbally and understand written instructions and blueprints in English + Experience with hand tools, such as rollers, scissors, and heat guns. + Proficient in using measuring instruments like scales and calipers. + Familiarity with shop tools such as band saws and drill press. + Ability to work in a loud environment and lift up to 50 lbs. + Respirator certification may be required. + Candidates must be willing to submit to a drug and backgr ound check.
