Job Description As a Structural Engineer, you will perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building projects, including custom singleu2011family residences, structural repairs, renovations, and new construction. You will participate in site walkthroughs, prepare construction documents, perform construction phase services, and coordinate directly with project stakeholders. Responsibilities + Conduct site walkthroughs and field investigations to assess existing conditions + Perform structural analysis and design for residential and light commercial buildings, including: + Custom singleu2011family homes + Structural repairs and retrofits + Building renovations + New construction + Prepare and review structural drawings and calculations using AutoCAD + Perform construction inspections and phase observations + Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors throughout project delivery + Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality, accuracy, and schedule compliance Essential Skills & Qualifications + Bacheloru2019s or Masteru2019s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering + 1u20134 years of experience in building structural engineering (nonu2011bridge) + Proficiency in AutoCAD + Experience designing with: + Structural steel + Coldu2011formed steel + Lumber and masonry + Aluminum + Concrete foundations + Experience performing structural analysis and conducting site visits + Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously + Strong verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications + EIT certification (PE licensure encouraged or supported) + Masteru2019s degree in Structural Engineering + Experience with structural analysis software such as RISA 3D and RAM Work Environment & Growth Join a respected and growing firm that is invested in your professional development and longu2011term success.
