Our Aerostructures group, based in Bridgeport CT, is dedicated to the structural assembly of our fixed-wing aircraft. THE WORK u2022 Receive, check, store and issue all types of tools, dies, gages, fixtures, shop and manufacturing supplies and hardware for all shop departments. u2022 Work from manufacturing schedules, verbal instructions, operation sheets and written requests to make accurate and timely transactions with respect to crib stock arrangements and availability. u2022 Prepare complete tool kits for various manufacturing and assembly operations. u2022 Tools to include machine cutting tools, templates, as well as, hand tools. u2022 Maintain up to date records using electronic computer aided systems u2022 Use electronic systems to make required adjustments to inventory records. u2022 Prepare and complete all related paper work and reports u2022 Check all incoming materials against accompanying paper work and store in proper location. u2022 Check stock limits and initiate necessary requisitions to replenish supplies when indicated. u2022 Plan and conduct periodic inventories and report irregularities. u2022 Maintain storage area in clean and orderly condition. u2022 Refer questionable conditions or difficulties to leadman or supervisor. Learn more about Lockheed Martin's Comprehensive benefits package here ( Basic Qualifications: u2022 Education Requires ability to read, write and use simple arithmetic application to the maintenance of files and inventory records. u2022 Basic knowledge of the use of a computer and storekeeping practices. u2022 Previous experience in a manufacturing store room/inventory environment. u2022 Minimum of 6 months of professional career experience u2022 Over 2 years of experience. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
