Principal Mainframe Software Engineer

Job Description We are seeking a Principal Mainframe Software Engineer to help design, enhance, and modernize mission critical brokerage and tax processing systems. You will develop deep knowledge of the mainframe ecosystem and support high volume, business critical workloads. This role supports broader modernization initiatives integrating mainframe systems with distributed and cloud architectures and transitioning from batch driven processing to event driven models. Compensation: $55 - 70/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
