Sago Solutions LLC 13501 Katy Freeway Suite 1410 Houston, TX7707912 temporary, full-time Landscape Laborers from 04/01/26 to 11/15/26.Work will be performed at multiple worksites in Harris County, TX.No minimum education required.On the job training will be provided.Duties:Enhance or care for the outdoor surroundings of a property utilizing hand or power tools andequipment including operation commercial mowing equipment.Tasks include laying sod, mowing, trimming/edging, planting, weeding, watering,raking, and blowing leaves. Utilize a hand shovel to excavate holes for installing plants, trees,and shrubs and tree removal. Operation of commercial mowing equipment to maintain publicor private properties and facilities, and/or drainage facilities Additionally, spread seed, fertilizer,and mulch, and perform ground-level pruning or trimming of trees, shrubs, and hedges usingshears, pruners, or chainsaws. Ensure proper functionality of equipment through regular maintenance.The role may involve driving a truck or other vehicles to transport work crews, plants, materials, and toolsto/from work sites. The ability to lift 75 lbs is required.Terms:A minimum of 35 hours per week, up to a potential 40 hours, is required.The establishment operates seven days a week, and the work schedule is subject to variation.Typically, employees adhere to a standard five-day workweek from Monday to Sunday, with shifts spanning from 7am to 4 pm and incorporating a one-hour unpaid break. Workdays and shift timings may beadjusted according to weather conditions.The hourly rate is $17.42, with the possibility of the employer adjusting it based on experience,market shifts, and potential additional compensation for performance and tenure. In Texas,overtime compensation, as mandated by Federal, State, or local law, will be provided at atime-and-a-half rate after 40 hours per workweek. Typically, if overtime is applicable, thecompensation will be at $26.13/hr, determined by the work location and the base hourly rate.Wages are computed on a weekly basis, with payment issued weekly.The employer will furnish the necessary tools, supplies, equipment, and uniform required for the job at no cost to the worker.Daily transportation is supplied from the primary worksite in Harris County to various locations within Harris County, TXThe employer will support employees in locating reasonably priced housing.The employer will deduct all legally mandated amounts from the worker's paycheck.Employees have the option to enroll in Medical, Dental, Vision insurance, and 401K plans.The costs for insurance depend on the selected plan(s) chosen by workers. Participation in Medical, Dental, and Vision, as well as 401K, is voluntary, and deductions will be made from the paycheck if the worker chooses to elect these benefits.The employer commits to providing work hours equivalent to a minimum of three-fourths of the workdays within each 12-week period throughout the entire employment duration.H-2B workers will receive reimbursement for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other associated fees mandated by the government (excluding passport fees) within the initial workweek.If a worker completes half of the employment period, the employer will compensate the worker for transportation and subsistence expenses from the recruitment location to the workplace.Upon the conclusion of the employment period or in the event of the worker's early dismissal, the employer will either provide or cover the reasonable costs of return transportation andsubsistence to the worker's home or the initial departure location, except in cases where the worker opts not to return due to subsequent employment or voluntary abandonment, asappropriately reported by the employer.The reimbursement for transportation will align wi h the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the relevant distances.Daily subsistence during travel will be offered at a minimum rate of $15.88 per day, up to a maximum of $59 per day, with receipts required. All transportation costs must receive pre approval.If necessary optional lodging will be provided and the employer will reimburse the worker within the first pay period for approved meal and lodging costs at the applicable exchange rate, not exceeding reasonable expenses. Receipts must be submitted.A criminal background check following employment, pre-employment and post-injury/incident drug tests, and e-verify are mandatory.The associated costs, borne by the employer, are equally applied to all workers, both US and foreign/H2B.
