This role supports the financial operations of a large multi-location healthcare practice by managing general ledger activity, performing reconciliations, preparing financial reports, and supporting monthly and quarterly financial close processes. A key responsibility of this position includes assisting with quarterly financial reporting used to support physician compensation and bonus calculations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a healthcare or physician practice environment and a strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting controls. Key Responsibilities General Ledger & Accounting Operations + Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts + Prepare and post journal entries + Perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations + Assist with month-end and quarter-end close processes + Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records Financial Reporting + Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements + Support quarterly financial close used for physician bonus and compensation calculations + Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies + Assist with financial reporting for leadership and operational teams + Support budget tracking and financial performance analysis Accounting Systems + Maintain financial records using Sage Intacct + Ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting data within financial systems + Assist with system reporting and financial data analysis Compliance & Financial Controls + Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and accounting standards + Assist with audit preparation and documentation requests + Support implementation and monitoring of financial controls + Collaborate with departments to resolve accounting discrepancies Schedule Monday u2013 Friday Day Shift On-Site Position Location: Dallas, TX 75231 About Urology Clinics of North Texas Urology Clinics of North Texas is one of the largest independent urology practices in the Dallasu2013Fort Worth area, serving patients across more than 25 clinic locations. Qualifications Required Qualifications + Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or Finance + Minimum 5 years of accounting experience + Experience with accounting software such as Sage Intacct + Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and reconciliations + Advanced Microsoft Excel skills + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities + Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Preferred Qualifications + Experience in healthcare, physician practice, or medical group accounting + Experience supporting physician compensation or productivity reporting + Experience with month-end and quarter-end close processes + Experience supporting multi-location healthcare organizations + CPA or CPA-track candidates preferred but not required
