JOB REQUIREMENTS: JusticePoint is looking for a detail oriented,people-person to assess the risk/needs of individuals referred for EarlyInterventions programs. Using an actuarial risk and needs assessment(Ohio Risk Assessment System and Stages of Change Readiness andTreatment Eagerness Scale) the Assessment Specialist will determine anindividual's risk level, programming needs, and eligibility fordiversion and treatment court programming in Milwaukee County. TheAssessment Specialist will be responsible for communicating theeligibility and programming recommendations of the individual to systemstakeholders. Many of the individuals served are experiencing mentalhealth and/or substance use disorders. This role requires an individualwho is both empathetic and compassionate. Responsibilities of theAssessment Specialist include completing face-to-face assessments,providing written eligibility reports to system stakeholders,maintaining and oversight of the assessment scheduling calendar,entering and maintaining case information in the electronic database,quality assurance checks of completed assessments, and other duties asassigned. OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Competencies:Applied knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, andExcel) Ability to work well with individuals from diverse economic,racial, and ethnic backgrounds and LGBTQIA+ identities Proficient incommunicating professionally & accurately, both orally and writtenOrganized, attentive to detail, ability to multi-task, workindependently Fluency in Spanish, spoken and written preferred Previousexperience working with criminal justice-involved clients preferredRequirements: Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work,Psychology, or related Human Services field Valid driver's license andautomobile with insurance Pass a pre-employment background checkconducted by the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department Ascribe to &champion The Difference Principles APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:Apply Online:
