Maintenance Planner

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary Under the direction of the Maintenance andAutomation Manager, the Maintenance Planner is responsible for managingthe CMMS (MP2) maintenance management system to ensure accuratescheduling, tracking, and reporting of preventive maintenance (PM),repairs, and work orders. This role collaborates with Planning,Maintenance, and Operations to optimize asset reliability, reducedowntime, and drive continuous improvement initiatives with measurableyear-over-year savings. This will be achieved while maintainingHellermannTyton Quality and EHS certifications by supporting allcorporate policies, procedures, work instructions, and requireddocumentation. Essential Functions Maintain the CMMS Master Data for allusers, machines, equipment, parts, etc. Maintain and update preventivemaintenance instructions and intervals for all equipment. Distribute PMschedules and work orders based on personnel and equipment availability.Modify schedules to accommodate emergency repairs or technician absenceswhile maintaining compliance to scheduled maintenance timelines.Coordinate maintenance schedules with production to minimize downtime.Determine the specific tools, spare parts, labor, and other resourcesnecessary to complete planned maintenance activities and ensure thateverything is available before the work is scheduled to begin. Analyzeequipment failure trends to optimize preventative maintenance plans,proactively mitigate recurring issues and improve asset reliability.Create, assign, schedule, and close work orders for emergency repairsand other maintenance activities. Validate labor hours, parts usage, andcost entries for all work orders. Communicate upcoming maintenancewindows and resource requirements. Track labor hours by technician andjob type. Generate weekly/monthly reports for management review. Monitorand report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for maintenanceeffectiveness. Recommend corrective actions based on trends andvariances. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiencygains. Propose initiatives for year-over-year savings through improvedscheduling, parts management, and labor utilization.
