Become a part of our caring community CenterWell Pharmacy is seeking a Senior Product Designer to help shape and deliver high-quality digital experiences across the full product design lifecycleu2014from problem framing and discovery through UX definition, interface design, prototyping, and validation. This role will report to the Lead, UX Strategy. This role is for a designer with range: someone who can operate strategically in ambiguous problem spaces, but who can also translate that thinking into clear user flows, interaction models, and polished digital experiences. You should be comfortable partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Content, BI, and other Design peers as part of an embedded product team with shared accountability for outcomes. The right candidate is not a narrow specialist. They are a strong end-to-end product designer who can identify the right problem, shape the right experience, and contribute meaningfully to execution. What You'll Do Product Design Across the Lifecycle + Lead design work from discovery through delivery across web and mobile experiences. + Translate business goals, customer needs, analytics, and research into intuitive end-to-end experiences. + Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that clarify product direction and accelerate delivery. + Contribute to both the structural UX and visual/interface design of digital experiences. + Partner with engineering and cross-functional peers to ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and aligned to quality standards. Strategic Framing and Problem Definition + Help define the right problems to solve by synthesizing research, Voice of Customer insights, behavioral data, and business context. + Frame opportunity areas, articulate design rationale, and bring clarity to ambiguous product questions. + Identify tradeoffs, uncover root causes, and guide teams toward solutions that balance customer value and business value. + Support roadmap thinking by grounding product direction in real user needs and operational realities. Cross-Functional Collaboration + Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, Content Designers, BI partners, and Design peers in a highly collaborative environment. + Participate in shaping hypotheses, evaluating options, and aligning teams around a shared experience direction. + Present work clearly and persuasively to stakeholders, explaining not just what is being proposed, but why. + Contribute to a product-team culture focused on outcomes, learning, and continuous improvement. Experience Quality and Systems Thinking + Design with an awareness of the broader service ecosystem, not just isolated screens. + Help ensure consistency across journeys, channels, and touchpoints while still solving for the specific product context. + Leverage and extend design systems and reusable patterns where appropriate. + Bring systems-level thinking to complex, regulated, and cross-functional environments. AI-Enabled Design Practice (Preferred) + Use AI tools to accelerate synthesis, concept exploration, prototyping, and documentation where helpful. + Apply judgment in distinguishing useful signals from shallow outputs. + Explore emerging workflows that improve speed, clarity, and design decision-making. What We're Looking For + 5+ years of experience in product design, UX design, interaction design, or a closely related field. + Demonstrated ability to move from ambiguous inputs to clear product and experience direction. + Strong UX fundamentals, including information architecture, interaction design, journey design, and prototyping. + Strong UI design skills, including the ability to produce thoughtful, polished digital interfaces. + Experience working closely with cross-functional partners in a product development environment. + Ability to synthesize research, analytics, and business context into actionable design decisions. + Comfort balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. + Strong communication skills and the ability to explain decisions, tradeoffs, and rationale to varied stakeholders. + A portfolio that demonstrates both strategic thinking and strong design craft. Required Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, Information Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. + 5+ years of experience designing digital products across web and/or mobile. + Experience creating flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI. + Strong understanding of user-centered design methods and product design principles. + Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and other disciplines. + Experience incorporating research and data into design decisions. + Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work effectively in ambiguity. + Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design thinking, from framing through execution. Preferred Qualifications + Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, insurance, or other complex regulated environments. + Experience designing for authenticated consumer experiences, self-service journeys, or multi-step service interactions. + Experience collaborating with research, analytics, and content partners. + Experience facilitating working sessions, alignment conversations, or discovery efforts. + Experience using AI-assisted tools in design, research synthesis, or prototyping. + Experience working within or alongside design systems in enterprise-scale environments. Why This Role Is Different This is not a purely downstream execution role, and it is not a strategy-only role detached from delivery. You will be expected to work across the full span of product design: helping define the problem, shaping the user experience, and producing design work that can move into execution. Your work should improve both customer experience and product clarity. You will help teams move from ambiguity to direction, and from direction to high-quality experience. This role is ideal for designers who: + Can think strategically without floating above the work. + Can design polished interfaces without reducing design to surface styling. + Prefer solving real product problems over simply processing tickets. + Want to influence outcomes, not just outputs.
